ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida’s most iconic Halloween event returns Friday, August 29, 2025 as Universal Orlando Resort kicks off the 34th edition of Halloween Horror Nights, unveiling an all-new collection of haunted houses, scare zones, and themed food offerings.
This year’s event dives deeper into immersive storytelling, drawing inspiration from some of horror’s most infamous franchises. Fans of Five Nights at Freddy’s can step into a nightmarish version of the cult-favorite video game, navigating an abandoned entertainment center where animatronic characters come terrifyingly to life.
Another highly anticipated addition is a haunted house based on the Terrifier movie series. Designed to be one of the most unsettling experiences in the park, the attraction pushes boundaries not only with its visuals but also with chilling sensory effects that leave guests with more than just memories.
“It’s all about placing guests directly into the world they’ve only seen on screen,” said Matthew Flood, senior show director with Universal Entertainment Creative Development.
Beyond the scares, Universal’s culinary team has crafted a limited-time menu inspired by the event’s horror themes. Specialty dishes and drinks pay tribute to the characters and stories behind the haunted attractions, giving fans an extra way to experience the fear.
Halloween Horror Nights 34 will run on select nights from August 29, 2025 through November 2, 2025, offering Floridians and visitors alike the chance to face their fears in new and unforgettable ways.
