ServiceNow to Bring Over 850 Jobs to Orlando in Major Expansion

Sep 22, 2025 | Technology

Cloud software giant ServiceNow has announced plans to expand in Orlando, bringing more than 850 new jobs to the region. The move is being welcomed as one of Central Florida’s most significant technology investments in recent years.

A Boost for Orlando’s Growing Tech Economy

ServiceNow, best known for its enterprise cloud solutions, will establish a new regional hub in Orlando, focusing on product development, customer service, and innovation. Company officials say the decision reflects Orlando’s growing reputation as a technology-friendly city with access to top talent.

“This expansion is a testament to Orlando’s potential as a leading tech market,” said Tim Keaney, senior vice president at ServiceNow. “We’re not just adding jobs, we’re building opportunities for long-term growth in the community.”

High-Paying Roles Across Multiple Disciplines

The new positions are expected to include roles in engineering, software development, data science, and customer success. ServiceNow has indicated that average salaries will be well above the region’s median income, offering strong opportunities for graduates and experienced professionals alike.

Local officials note that this expansion aligns with broader efforts to diversify Central Florida’s economy, traditionally reliant on tourism and hospitality. “This is exactly the kind of high-wage, high-skill investment our region has been working toward,” said Tim Giuliani, president of the Orlando Economic Partnership.

Why Orlando?

ServiceNow cited the city’s growing talent pool, supported by nearby universities such as the University of Central Florida, which has one of the nation’s largest computer science programs. Proximity to transportation infrastructure and Florida’s business-friendly climate also played a role.

In recent years, Orlando has attracted a number of high-profile tech employers, reinforcing its status as a destination for innovation. Analysts believe ServiceNow’s move could draw even more companies to consider Central Florida for future expansion.

Local Impact and Community Ties

Beyond job creation, ServiceNow has pledged to engage with the Orlando community through partnerships, workforce development programs, and support for local nonprofits. The company says its goal is to create lasting ties in the region.

With hiring expected to begin in 2026, the expansion is poised to make a noticeable impact on Orlando’s employment landscape. Economic experts predict the ripple effects will benefit housing, retail, and small business sectors throughout the region.

A Defining Moment for Central Florida Tech

For Orlando, the ServiceNow announcement signals a defining moment in its effort to compete with larger tech hubs like Austin and Atlanta. As Giuliani noted, “This is a clear message that Orlando is open for business in technology, and we’re ready to compete at the highest level.”
